DENIM SKATER SKIRT

I popped in to the Outfit store where I used to work last night for a post of retail therapy and spotted this lovely little denim look skater skirt pretty much has soon as I walked over to Topshop.  I sold my plain black jersey version a while back and have regretted it ever since as there have been so many times I've wanted to wear it, so I thought as spring is (hopefully) just around the corner, this would be ideal as a sort of 'transitional' item in my wardrobe. Today I've styled it with an oversize tee, cardigan and tights with boots, but in summer this would be perfect with a cropped tee and converse.

So many things caught my eye in Topshop but I couldn't afford to get anything else (sad face!). They had some gorgeous lightweight coats, perfect now the weather is starting to change, and some really nice basics that I will be stocking up on over the next few weeks. These lace crop tees caught my eye too, but I can't decided which colour I want!
