NAANAA

I'm a huge fan of lace at the moment, so when the lovely Rebecca from fashion brand NaaNaa contacted me and asked me to choose a piece to review, this skirt was the obvious choice for me! I have a few things similar to this, but there was something about it that drew me in. I love the fact it has an A Line shape, not too dissimilar from the skater skirts that are everywhere at the moment, and the off white shade makes it a perfect piece for Spring. I'm loving the monochrome trend that's emerging for the new season, but being a lover of all things colourful and printed, I'm always a bit wary of wearing simple black and white. However, the crochet style lace of the skirt adds interest to a simple outfit like the one I wore today, and I absolutely loved the overall look.

I styled the skirt with an oversize black jumper that has stretched over time but was perfect for turning what could have been a dressy outfit into something more relaxed. I kept the cold at bay with a pair of opaque tights and my favourite little studded ankle boots. I had to get some colour in somewhere though, so went with the brightest lipstick I own to pull it back into my comfort zone!

If you haven't taken a look at NaaNaa yet then get yourself over there now! There are some great pieces available and I've got my eye on a few things to add to my wardrobe. They've also just started stocking Cambridge Satchels (swoon!). I'm predicting big things for NaaNaa this year. Definitely a brand to take note of.
