BACK TO BLACK

Dan and I have just got back from a lovely night away in Manchester, and even though its only forty minutes away from where I live, I'm pretty gutted to be back home! I booked it all as a surprise for his birthday, and I must say, I'm pretty proud of myself for successfully keeping it a secret. He couldn't believe everything I'd arranged for him, from birthday goodies in the hotel room to a lovely meal out at Jamie's Italian. We both had a lovely relaxing time, and even though it was so close to home, it was god to get to spend some time together and get away for a day or two. Here's what I wore last night to go out to dinner. The birthday balloons made for excellent photo props!

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful this jumpsuit is? Never have a owned a piece of clothing that made me feel so posh! It fits like a glove and really sucks you in around the waist. It made me feel super slim and did an amazing job of hiding the serious food baby I was nursing after our delicious meal. You can't see from these snaps but it also has a slit down from the neck to the bottom of the back, making it even more special! It's one of those pieces that makes you feel a million dollars as soon as you put it on. I even got compliments from one of the waitresses on it! I just wish there was a feasible reason for me to wear it any old day of the week....

I'm off to get ready for another meal out now (surely Dan's birthday has gone on long enough!??) with my side of the family, then it's definitely back to being healthy tomorrow! Not sure how much of this over indulging I can take!
