PHOTOGRAPHY: TIM WALKER

Last night myself and the boy watched Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland. I was actually blown away at how amazing it was. I know it got some mixed reviews when it was first released, but I was completely stunned. Everything from the special effects to the styling was beautiful and had us glued to the screen.
I couldn't help but think about my favourite photographer, Tim Walker all the way through. Each scene could of been one of his still images. Tim Walker has themed his shoots around Tim Burton works in the past, and the pair have worked together a lot, so naturally they both influence each other.
I thought I would show you my favourite photographs taken by Tim Walker, and make this more of a feature, where I share with you inspiration in the form of photography, styling, films or anything else I may find. This way you will get more of an idea of what I like, and also the kind of things I study and research at Uni. In case you didn't already know, I study Fashion Promotion with Styling, and one day hope to become a freelance stylist or a visual merchandiser.

I just think all his photographs are so pretty and whimsical and I use them as inspiration in my university a lot.
Who are your favourite photographers?

  4. I can certainly see how the Alice In Wonderland film caused you to think of that photographer, his photographs are very similar, I really like the first picture.
