A HOMESENSE HAUL

Some of you may know that Dan and I have been hunting for a new place recently, and earlier this week we got the great news that we have got the house we've been holding out for forever! Now we just have to wait for a moving date, which isn't easy for someone as impatient as me, but it does mean I can slowly start to pick up some pieces for the new place. Although a two bed semi offers us a lot more space than the tiny flat we currently live in, it's still quite small and cosy meaning we don't need to go crazy spending £££s on loads of new furniture, and instead can concentrate on making it our home.
The lovely folk at Homesense were incredibly generous and sent over some vouchers to start the house-shopping spree, and since Homesense is literally heaven on earth, I practically leapt out of the house and to my local store as soon as the vouchers came through the postbox! Here's a peek at the items I picked up recently, which I'll be showing you in a little house tour post once we've (finally) moved!
If like me you spend hours mindlessly scrolling through Pinterest (at least 5 times) every day, you've probably come across these gorgeous circular mirrors with a leather strap on numerous occasions. I've wanted one of these for a while, but struggled to find one I liked/ could afford/ would fit anywhere in the flat. This one is the perfect size to hang above a fireplace, and was an absolute steal for £18.00 in the sale!
You all know how much of a soft spot I have for all things vintage and kitsch, so it's only natural that I was drawn to these Hemingway storage tins like a moth to a flame! I actually already have the matching cake tins to these that I got last year, so I figured these would be perfect for our new kitchen.

I'm a huge fan of Orla Kiely (bedding sets, mugs and candles are just a few of the things in my collection), so when I spied these gorgeous bath towels I just had to have them! I like to have my towels stacked on shelves, so when they're super pretty like this, it make my bathroom shelves look even better!

One thing that I picked up that wasn't really on my wishlist (until I saw it) was the wicker over-door organiser. I'm forever trying to find a storage solution for my hair tools, and this seems the perfect answer! No more plugs trailing along the floor or tangled wires! I can't wait to hang this up on the bedroom door and write something sweet on the little chalkboards.

Everybody needs a bit (a lot) of rose gold in their life, so this lamp was an absolute must! I love the textured effect of the metal stand, and the dark grey shade will go perfectly with our living room furniture and accessories.

Finally, I couldn't resist picking up some new bedding for the house (nothing better than fresh new bedding!). At the moment we have a black iron bed, but I'm hoping to paint this white when we move and go for more of a clean white and grey look when it comes to bedding. This striped duvet set will be perfect for this topped off with some fluffy grey cushions!

I'm so excited to set a date for the move and start packing up our little flat. Finally things are starting to feel real! Thank you so much to Homesense for being so super generous :)
