If like me you were sat sobbing at the TV during Adele and Coldplay at Glastonbury last weekend (or if you were lucky enough to be there!) you'll be itching to get yourself to a festival this Summer! The lovely folk at Home Bargains hooked me up with their Summer survival kit that comes in at less than £14.00, perfect for festivals, holidays or a spot of camping, full of all the essentials whether knee deep in mud in the fields or sunbathing on the beach!
Volume Eyelashes, 89p: Perfect for a touch of low maintenance festival glamour, these embellished false lashes mean you can ditch the mascara and dance the night away come rain or shine without worrying about the dreaded panda eyes!
Face & Body Wipes, Deodorant Wipes, both 39p & Handy Wipes, 79p: An absolute must for any festival goer, these handy wipes fit easily in your backpack, bumbag or beach bag and are great for freshening up on the go.
Trilby Hat, £1.99: This pretty take on the classic trilby absolutely screams festival, and is great for hiding on those bad hair days and protecting your head from the rays (if you're lucky enough to be in the sunshine!)
Pocket Tissues, 12p: If you're a major hayfever sufferer like me and sneezing every five minutes has become the norm, then these are an absolute must, plus they'll come in handy in the porta-loos!
Sunglasses, £1.99: If there's ever a time of novelty sunglasses, then it's definitely the festival scene. Cover up those tell-tale eye bags from late nights and shield your eyes from the sun with these fun heart shaped numbers with pretty daisy detailing.
Welly Socks, £1.99: This has to be one of the best ideas ever! These welly socks are the perfect length to keep your legs warm and dry underneath those all important wellies and are thick and fluffy to make sure your boots don't rub your feet.
Floral Headband, £1.49: A festival wouldn't be a festival with a floral crown! This pink rose headband is an absolute steal, and will keep your hair looking fabulous with minimal effort.
Dry Shampoo, 79p: Every festival goers secret weapon; pop a bottle of this in your bag and have fresh hair without washing!
Cooler Bag, £1.99: Perfect not only for festivals, but also for picnicking in the summer months, this cool bag is a handy size for carrying food and drinks for your in-tent snack stash.
Supersize Body Wipes, 79p: We all know that showers don't really happen at festivals, other than the rain kind that is. These Superzise body wipes fold out to the size of a towel, so are great for freshening up on the go.
Total: £13.61
What would you recommend to anyone heading to a festival this year? Have you got any top tips?
