TO THE MAX

This time of year is my favourite when it comes to fashion, as I love donning an oversized chunky knit and I get to wear my trusty ankle boots from my ever growing collection (seriously, you don't want to know how many pairs of black ankle boots I have. It's obscene). When I spotted some of the new Autumn/Winter pieces at H&M this week I just had to pick up a few pieces. I chose a gorgeous oversized high neck jumper and long pleated maxi skirt in olive green after spotting them paired together on a mannequin. That's when I saw the boots. Oh, boots, glorious boots! If you know me, you'll know that the boots are SO me! They tick all the boxes, with pointed toes, a patent finish, the perfect day heel height and extra detail with the circular buckles. Perfection!

I realise this outfit is very H&M heavy now, but I just love how all the items I got look together in one look, plus paired with the lipstick I think it's the perfect combo for this time of year! The lipstick I'm wearing is Starry Eyed by Rimmel and I've had it since last year but never got round to wearing it as I didn't really feel like the shade suited me. I put it on again today though after discovering it at the bottom of my make up drawer and have fallen in love with it. I think now that my hair has an almost grey blonde tint to the ends, it really compliments the shade! Definitely one I'll be wearing more.
