DENIM DUNGAREES

After hunting high and low in my local Primark store pretty much week in, week out for the past couple of months for their full length dungarees and having no hope, I had given up my search and admitted defeat. That was until I was passing through the store as a shortcut yesterday and spotted them out the corner of my eye, almost calling my name and shining like a beacon. I hurried over praying that my size would be there, and hurrah! It was! Usually when something goes in the glossies and online magaiznes (like these did back before they even launched) it very rarely appears in Preston's Primark store, but this time round we hit the jackpot. Priced at just £17 and almost identical to the River Island £50 and Topshop £55 versions (ouch), these are an absolute steal. I still need to play around with styling these as I think I was a little too safe with them today. I had originally planned wearing them with some really nice pointed heels for a contrast, but after walking in new boots without socks yesterday for a couple of hours, my feet couldn't stand being squashed in to stilettos. Major error on my part - whoopsie.

I think these dungarees are definitely something I'll get a lot of wear out of this Summer, teaming them with blouses and heels for work, and relaxed tees and sandals for chilled out days. If I can stick to my healthy eating and squeeze in a bit of exercise into my life then I may even be brave enough to go for a crop top! That's a big maybe though. I doubt it will happen any time soon!

I hope you've all been enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend? I've spent most of it with family, and tomorrow I'm doing my absolute favourite thing which is going to Ikea! I'm taking part in a little interior challenge with Money Supermarket, so I'm hoping to pick up some lovely things for my room whilst I'm there for that. All will be revealed tomorrow.
