Today I set up shop at the first ever 'For The Love Of Vintage' fair hosted by St Catherine's Hospice in Preston, which was so much fun! Not only was it the Hospice's first Vintage fair but mine too. I've done the odd stall before but nothing on this scale. The idea behind the fair was obviously to raise money for the hospice, so the majority of stock available to buy was donated. Then there was a selection of external stalls whose stall fee went to the Charity also (like mine) so there was a huge range of goodies to rummage through. I actually went and set up last night to save time this morning, and I'm glad I did as I managed to bag a few beauties for myself!
The girls from the hospice (Rachel, Heather and Natalie) worked so hard to put everything together, and managed to fill a huge space with some of the best Vintage stock I've seen, covering everything from clothing and shoes to records and collectables. Plus there were lots of lovely volunteers helping out on the stalls including my friend Mel, who couldn't resist getting in on the outfit picture action!
I wore:
Biker Jacket - Topshop
Tee - H&M
Skirt - Vintage Fair (£4)
Belt - Primark
Boots - Primark
Mel wore:
Blazer - Vintage Fair (£8)
Blouse - Charity Shop
Jeans - Dorothy Perkins
Shoes - Charity Shop
Necklace - Topshop
There were some really great external stalls including Oh So Lovely Vintage, Mary & Milly and Beehive DecoDesign to name a few, some of which you might recognise if your a regular on the Vintage Fair scene in the North West! I bought myself some really lovely decoupaged items from Beehive Deco Design for my room, which you will have seen if you follow me on Instagram!
All in all it was a lovely day and a really great event, probably one of the best Vintage Fairs I've been to recently which is amazing considering it's the first time St Catherine's Hospice have put anything like this on in Preston before. There are already talks of a second event similar to this one in the near future which I will definitely be putting my name down for, so keep your eyes out for details!
Aww this looks fab!

This looks fantastic and I'm so glad you did this for St Catherines. My Nana spent the last few weeks of her life in St Catherines and they made her stay so wonderful. They are all such good people! xx
