MONOCHROME

Seeing as the weather was so lovely today I decided to make the most of it and get my lazy bum outside after work for a few quick outfit snaps. My outfit was pretty plain for me, but I wanted to wear something simple and relaxed for a busy day at work, plus I wasn't sure what to wear when I looked out of my window this morning. We're at that stage where we're not quite sure whether to ditch the tights or boots, so I went for a happy medium with Disco Pants. I styled them with a simple oversized white tee and my new 'Peace' belt, and threw on a pair of little ankle boots for a bit of height to my short little legs!

I tend to wear this kind of thing a lot at work with a cardigan thrown over the top, mainly because I'm sat at a desk all day so want something comfy. I think the Peace belt pulls everything together nicely and adds a little splash of detail to the whole thing. I love how it's a similar style to the classic Moschino belt. Unfortunately my purse strings can't stretch far enough for one of those at the moment, so this will do nicely for now!

I also wanted to show you my new onesie! Much to Dan's dismay I got this amazing leopard print onesie from Funzee, and I can safely say I'm converted. I could never understand why people loved them so much but my goodness they are the best thing since sliced bread. I was a little worried that this one would be a bit too thick now that Spring has well and truly sprung, but it's actually a really nice light cotton fabric, slightly thicker but very similar to the majority of my pyjamas! Cue pictures of me acting like a fool...

Onesie - Funzee*

I still do worry lightly for those people in full on bear/bunny/dog/crocodile/cat onesies as I think they do take things a little far (you know who you are!), but this is just enough with me. No ears in site (except the ones I made with my hands, and the actual ones on my head) and definitely no tails or claws.

What's your opinion on Onesies? Just for kids or your guilty pleasure?!
