LOVE LACE

Today I have one of the most beautiful dresses that I have come across in a while to show you. The pictures really don't do it justice (blame the poor English weather for these somewhat blurry, drizzly shots) but believe me, it is so pretty! It's from Chi Chi, which I'm sure a lot of you have heard of. They specialise in 'dressy' dresses - think nights out, weddings, christenings and what not, but this beauty caught my eye as it can so easily be worn as a day dress. The detailing on the top half is lovely, with delicate black lace set over a cream fabric, dusted with gold thread throughout the lace. Then there is some clever figure flattering panel work in black that gives the allusion of an hourglass shape and looks pretty darn lovely too.

I'm looking forward to going out at night and wearing this as it's meant to be - with a pair of killer heels and a glamorous 'do, but that won't happen for a while yet because WE GOT THE FLAT! I can't contain my excitement of finally being able to move out and have a place to call our own. Moving starts next weekend so if all begins to get a little quiet round here, please bear with me. I'll try to get as many posts up as I can before the move, but they will no doubt be short and sweet as we have tonnes of packing to squeeze in between full time jobs. Then the week after I will probably be without internet, but normal blogging will resume soon, pinky promise! I can't wait to show you all the new place. Expect an apartment tour very soon!!!
