So I'm writing this from the comfort of my sofa, back in Preston, and what seems a million miles away from York. We only stayed there for two nights, but crammed so much in that it felt like longer. Two nights is nowhere near enough though, and I was a little depressed to be returning home today on the train. As I said when I went earlier this year, York is my favourite place. I've been going with family and Dan since being about fourteen years old, so I've grown really fond of it and know the place pretty well now. I feel really comfortable there, as if it's where I'm supposed to be, and can see myself relocating there later on in life. That's the dream, anyway! Whilst we were there I made sure I got plenty of outfit snaps, as well as architecture, food and little snippets of what we got up to. I thought I could do a little series of York themed posts seeing as it's such a photogenic place!
Lace Skirt - Vintage
Sandals - Clarks
Bag - Urban Outfitters
Sunglasses - Black Five*
This is what I wore yesterday for a day of strolling through the sunny streets, doing a spot of shopping and taking in the sights. The Primark blouse is something I've had a while, since the beginning of June to be exact, and have only just got round to wearing now! It's a gorgeous dusky pink pyjama style blouse with a palm tropical floral print, and it's the most lovely fit. I tucked it in to my favourite vintage lace skirt that I picked up in London about three years ago for a girly, feminine look. I loved this outfit so much and can't wait to wear it again!
I'll be posting more throughout the week about my York trip, so stay tuned for food reviews, pretty pictures and more outfits!
