The temperatures are dropping yet again, and fluffy knits have started to creep their way back in to my wardrobe (not complaining - I love Autumn fashion!), so I thought it was about time I put together my AW14 wish list / spend a good couple hours drooling over clothes! Lately I've found myself mostly attracted to plain, simple pieces, which is a big change for someone who usually packs her wardrobe with pretty prints. I just love the whole sleek, sophisticated look that has minimal effort, hence why a lot of my picks are fairly simple! Of course I did have to throw in a couple of prints for good measure. Can't forget about those completely!

The main talking point (and the item that's gone straight to the top of my birthday wishlist for next month) is the coat. I'm obsessed by this gorgeous grey boyfriend coat - perfect with skinny indigo jeans and a tee for day to day wear, or thrown over smart trousers and a blouse for work. I'm dreaming of wearing this in the winter months with my beloved faux fur stole for a classic look. Love! For days when the weather isn't quite cold enough to completely wrap up, I'm a big fan over oversized cardigans. The nude number from Monki is a great midi length that would look just as lovely over a pretty dress and boots as it would over a baggy tee, leggings and trainers. Speaking of shoes, let's just take a moment to appreciate the boots I've picked out. Navy blue pointy suede beauties, and chunky classic black Chelsea boots - great investment pieces that will see you through right in to next Summer and probably years to come after that too!
Other pieces that have been catching my eye are chic A-Line leather skirts, classic stripe tees and boxy blouses in muted floral prints. I'm also loving chunky leather rucksacks and fluffy bobble hats when it comes to accessories, again keeping everything nice and simple!
I hate to say it, but I almost want Autumn to hurry up now after seeing all the beautiful pieces hitting stores lately. Let's face it, Summer is pretty much done and dusted! Autumn Winter is always my favourite time of year for fashion as I love a good knitwear, I get over excited about coats and the thought of buying a new pair of boots makes me giddy like a little child! I won't even begin to mention how much I love layering! I'll stop now...
What are you lusting after for next season?

Everything on this list is gorgeous! I especially adore the coat, Chelsea boots and cardigan :) I'm very similar when it comes to clothes, I love a bright statement piece but I actually really like the more minimalist pieces that are coming out for A/W now too. I really need to invest in some!
