MY DOROTHY MOMENT

Long time followers of my blog will remember I used to work at my local Dorothy Perkins store straight from leaving school, so when the company got in touch with me to work on their new #MyDorothyMoment campaign, I couldn't say no! I've always had a soft spot for the brand, in particular their shoes, which is the main focus of the campaign. Taking inspiration from Dorothy's iconic ruby slippers, I was challenged to pick a beautiful pair of shoes from the new collection and show how I would style them for a special occasion, or 'my Dorothy moment'.

I chose to style my boots for my absolute favourite day of the year, and something that's (scarily) only round the corner; Christmas Day! I picked out a beautiful pair of patent heeled boots that are the perfect height to wear all day long, great for a day with the family and a night of drinks and dancing! I had the perfect Christmas dress that I picked up at a Vintage Fayre recently but had yet to wear, so I thought this would be the ideal debut for it. I love the print, colours and the cinched in waist!
