TO MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE

Just a quick post to say Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! I hope you've all been spoilt rotten, and if not then why not spoil yourself!? Unfortunately Dan isn't here today so its been a pretty glum day so far, but we've both got a free day tomorrow so are going to meet up in Manchester for a spot of lunch and some window shopping.

I said a few posts back that we bought each other gifts the other week seeing as we wouldn't be together on the day, but the naughty thing bought me a couple of extra things.

He got me these gorgeous roses on Saturday and when I got out of bed yesterday he had left my card with them before he went home.

Whilst we were out shopping in Preston on Friday I spotted this Love ornament in Next. He sent me back to Next before we set off home to go and get it. Its covered in a velvet fabric and looks great with all the shabby chic things in my bedroom. We're hopefully getting a tall white bookcase soon and I intend to put it on there with all my lovely books, but there have been problems getting the one we wanted. The company went into liquidation a few days after I bought it online, and because I didn't pay on a credit card I may not get my money back! I've sent off all the paperwork to the bank so fingers crossed we will get a refund. We paid £200 for the original one, but I've since found one really similar at Ikea for just £60! A refund and change, let's hope so!
