First off I hope you all had a lovely Christmas! My blog has been a little neglected over the past week. I had a list of things I wanted to blog about with family festivities and food comas meant I hadn't got the motivation or time to actually take photos or write. I think it's done me good though as I'm back with a fresh head on and lots of ideas for posts. Yesterday I decided to hit the shops and see what the sales had to offer. I'm not one of those people who gets up at the crack of dawn and queues on boxing day, trust me. I have better things to do. However, I had some money, and nothing to do so headed out to a local retail park before the rush.
The shops were fairly quiet, so I had a stress free shop around Topshop and Miss Selfridge in Outfit, then over to River Island. I picked up some really good items, a few of which I'd seen at full price and not been able to afford them at the time, which is always a bonus! Today I wore a pair of flatform plimsoles that I snapped up for £12 reduced from £28, along with a blouse from the Asos sale (£19 down from £35!). Just to let you all know a couple of things, I'll be updated the blog sale with a lot of clothing this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled for that! I'm going to have a big clear out over the next couple of days to make way for all my new purchases and clothes I got for Christmas, so I'll be getting rid of quite a bit. Love that blouse! I also attempted the sales the other day but it was so horrendously busy around them (though I didn't think there was really anything decent in them!) but it sounds like you managed to buy some lovely things anyway :) would love to see what you got!
