So this post isn't exactly what I had initially planned it to be. Those of you who follow me on Twitter will know that the weekend just gone turned out to be a teeny bit of a disaster! Dan and I had planned to go camping with my family on Saturday, spending a night with them all at a lovely campsite in the Lake District and getting away from it all for a couple of days. However after packing up the car to the brim with mine, Dan's and even Toby's essentials for the weekend, then missing the motorway exit and adding another twenty minutes on to our journey, we received a phone call from my brother telling us to turn back! They had all stayed the night before, and had extremely bad weather all morning that had destroyed two of their tents, and were all packing up to come home! I think just about everything that could have gone wrong did, even my brother's car battery died so couldn't drive for a good few hours. It's a good job that was the only problem with it otherwise we would have been contacting National.co.uk or Tyre-shopper!
Needless to say we were super disappointed as we were really looking forward to a weekend away in the sticks, plus to add insult to injury I couldn't put my camping kit to use that the lovely people over at Get The Label had kindly sent over!
