10 OF THE BEST | HAIR PRODUCTS I SWEAR BY

Since having my hair cut back in to a bob, I've really enjoyed styling it as it's so easy and quick to do! There's a whole bunch of products that make it that easy though, and I often get asked what I use to style my hair, (especially when it's curly) so I thought I'd show you the ones that have firmly found their way in to my routine. There's ten in particular, but don't worry. I don't use them all in one go!
WASHING:
Back in the day I never really used to care what I washed my hair with, and would happily go with a cheap and cheerful option, but I'd find I'd have to wash my hair more often, and the texture of my hair would be frizzy and flyaway. Since converting to more specialist brands and higher end products, I've really noticed a difference in the condition of my hair and find it so much more manageable. I start off with the OGX Moroccan Argan Creme Shampoo, then use the Moroccan Oil Smoothing Conditioner. Yes, these are on the pricier side, but I don't find that I need to use as much (I've had the conditioner since July and still a good quarter of the bottle left!) so don't have to buy anywhere near as often as before.
If I've got more time or my hair needs a bit of TLC, I've been loving the Percy & Reed Foaming Treatment Mask from my All Boxed Up box. I absolutely love this as it's one of the only masks I've ever used that I actually feel works. My hair is super soft and bouncy when I've used this instead of a conditioner.

PRE-STYLING
When it comes to products for pre styling, it all depends on the style I want to achieve. If I'm going for something with texture and a little bit of a wave, I towel dry my hair then apply some of the Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry Styling Mousse and scrunch it through before using the hair dryer, then using GHDs to create subtle waves. If I'm wearing my hair straight, it can look pretty flat, so I turn to the Moroccan Oil Root Boost, which is a mousse in spray form, that you spray in to the roots for added lift. If I'm going for curls, I add some Lush Sea Spray through the ends for a more textured, less polished finish, but as this style requires a lot of heat from my curlers, I also add some of the Got2b Oil-liscious Styling Oil to damp hair, especially the tips.

POST-STYLING
When I've created the look I want, there's a couple of products I've been turning to the most lately. If I'm wearing waves or curls, I will add a little of the Charles Worthington Shine Booster, which is a lifesaver if my hair looks a little dry or dull. To set my styles, I'm obsessed with the new TRESemme Max The Volume hairspray. If you remember using the good old Samy Fat Hair a few years back when it was all the rage, this is in the same league as that, but less sticky and messy! It holds any style and helps to add tonnes of volume when sprayed lightly in to the roots.
Then of course, there's the Batiste Dry Shampoo, an absolute staple in my collection and something I repurchase all the time. Having ombre hair can sometimes look a little on the greasy side due to the darker roots, so this just keeps the greasy look at bay and has saved me on those mornings where I've slept through my alarm!!

So those are my favourite products. What makes your list? Any recommendations for a short haired sister?!
