College work and news!

Hello all!

I know I kept promising a post of my uni work, and here it is. The pictures aren't great because of the poor lighting, but you get the point. These are all pages from my sketchbook for the Style Icon brief. I have to research my given Icon, Pat Cleveland, and include references of her past, career, and style.

I then have to find collections, trends and themes from the Spring Summer 2010 shows that emulate her style.

All this information then leads me to a "Style Icon Trend Page". I have to make a 3d collage that references her lifestyle and look, that then needs to be photographed as a flat image that would sit in a magazine. This will be shot a week tomorrow, so I'll be able to show you then. Its so hard and confusing to explain!

Now onto some news!

You know how I said I had won another competition? Well today I won ANOTHER!

Firstly I won a £25.00 voucher to spend at the iheartvintage etsy shop courtesy of Kavita! Thank you! I picked a BEAUTIFUL beaded crop top that I can't wait to receive. No doubt I will get my wear out of it over the party season, and already have a few outfits in mind! Plus it was only £19.00 so I have £6.00 to use when the new collection comes!

And today I won a LONDON--ROSE competition in conjunction with Aussie hair care. We had to design/style/make an outfit which we thought represented Aussie. The lovely Hannah chose my entry to win a prize, and if her own entry wins her category, we both win Aussie goodies! Exciting!

So there you have it! I'm off to get some work done. I'm so behind! Argh!
