YAY FOR YAYER!

I've recently come across yayer.co.uk, an online shop that stocks the very best of both worlds - modern and vintage - and saw that they were holding a blogger competition. As you all know, Vintage fashion is a big love of mine, so I decided to have a pop at entering, and at the same time show you some of their gorgeous stock!

Yayer started out back in 2009, supplying handmade vintage inspired pieces to independent local boutiques. Following the success of this, they decided to throw caution to the wind and set up shop here in cyberspace. Their vast range of stock now includes one off, vintage pieces, some on trend, modern garments and a limited Yayer own brand range, so whether you're an avid trend follower or a fan of all things vintage, you're bound to find something to suit your style.
I've picked out some of my favourite pieces available from their online shop at the moment, starting off with dresses. I'm really into dresses right now, especially printed numbers, and if you've seen my Twitter you will know that I spoke about the 'Stripe It Up' Dress last night as I love it so much! I think all four of these are great for summer and would be so easy to dress up or down. I really love how these looks have been styled too, as the chunky footwear works perfectly to toughen each one up and the accessories add quirky touches.

Next on to shirts and blouses, again, another must have for me over Spring as many of you will have noticed in my recent outfits. I've picked out four that I think would be versatile. I can imagine all of these working in numerous outfits. These could be tucked into high waisted shorts or skinny denim jeans, or even teamed with tapered trousers or a feminine skirt. My favourite is the 'White Sheer Pearl Blouse' as it has a really unusual collar.

Finally are some skirts and trousers. I've recently been buying a lot of trousers as I think they are great transitional items to assist you in taking the leap from winter to spring. Midi skirts are also great for this, when the sun isn't hot enough to bare too much flesh, but you want your outfit to have a nod towards summer. I love the 'Raven Sheer Harem Pants' and can think of so many ways I could wear them. I'm thinking over a bikini on holiday, glammed up with a blazer and chunky heels for a night out or dressed down with flats and a camisole for lazy summer days.

Make sure you check out Yayer's online shop to see more pieces like these and follow their blog for inspiration and Yayer news. You can also find them on Twitter and Facebook!
What are your favourite pieces from the collection? Have you bought anything from Yayer?
